My mom told me about this super fun, kid-friendly way of making omelettes. We gave it a try this past weekend and it was definitely a success! Fun, tasty, and super easy!
Crack 2 or 3 eggs into ziplock bags.
Squish eggs around in the bag.
Add your favorite omelette ingredients.
Close the bag and toss it into a pot of boiling water. Cover and boil for 13 minutes.
Remove.
... and eat!
Enjoy!

How fun! I love any idea that gets kids involved in the kitchen! I'm going to have to share this with some friends!
My mother in law made these before- I forget, do you have to spray the inside first w/cooking spray??? can't remember!
No cooking spray needed!
Whoa that's crazy - we'll have to try it! Did you put any oil into them? I can't imagine it tastes the same without it.
No oil, either! They are surprisingly just as good without it... Not dry at all! And the clean up is way easier! I usually hate washing tge pan after cooking omelettes!
That's awesome! We are going to have to try that for sure!!
What a good idea to make a blog post about the "Omelettes in a Bag." FYI to all your readers: I learned about this at a ladie's book club gathering. It's a great group activity for adults AND kids!
I love this idea! We have done it twice since I found this post! So much in fact that I have decided to feature you as one of my top 5 blogs I follow on my Follow me Friday's post this week! Your girls are darling and I love the variety you post about! Please come and check it out: http://hotmomshelpfultips.blogspot.com/2011/08/follow-me-fridays-link-party.html
