Sweet Prayers

Just wanted to share some recent conversations Claire has had with Jesus. 

We bought her friend Liam a birthday present the other day.  Claire kept looking at it and finally said, "I really wish I had one of these."  We talked about how fun it will be to give the present to Liam and how happy he will be.  That night at dinner Claire prayed, "Dear God, Thank you for my friend Liam.  Please help me to be happy when I give him his present.  Amen."

The other day Claire was playing with some friends.  One of her friends hit her (I'm sure Claire did something to deserve it though!).  Claire was very upset about it and kept talking about how her friend hit her. Later that night she prayed, "Dear God, Thank you for my friend.  Please help her to not hit anymore.  Amen."

Two sweet moments that brought a smile to my face.  :)
