We're back!

Finally we're back online!  We moved Easter weekend and after 10 days without Internet, we've unburied (is that a word?) ourselves from the boxes and are back up & running!  There's tons to catch up on but I'll start by just saying that God is good.  We are thankful beyond thankful to be settling in and getting to know our new 'hood.  After renting for a year, we prayed and prayed about what to do... should we rent? Should we buy?  Where should we live?  We never felt like God gave us a clear answer one way or another so we just started to pursue buying a house in a certain area we liked.  We asked God to shut doors if this was not what He wanted for our family.  There were several times when we thought that was exactly what He was doing (car issues that we thought would cost an arm & a leg, thinking we owed TONS more on our taxes than we actually did, offers not accepted, houses selling quicker than we could put in offers, etc..) And truly, I would have been okay with that.  But, low and behold - here we are!  We made offers on two other houses and even had a contract on one other before we found this one.  God did lots of cool things in the process and brought us to this great neighborhood where we have already met some like-minded people that we are excited to get to know better.  Tons of kids and young families, lots of stay at home moms, super close to Justin's job... just so much to be thankful for!  We know this is not some awesome gift God wants to bless us with because we deserve it or earned it. And we're holding it loosely. But we are thankful that we're here for this season!
