Claire is off the oxygen!!! We are so excited to see her making progress. The doctor wants us to keep the tanks for now, just in case she doesn't do well without it. He told us some things to look for that would show her oxygen levels have dropped. If we see any of them, we will have to put her back on. She is still on the monitor as well. I was hoping for and even asked if we could just have her on the monitor at night instead of all the time but he wasn't ready to get rid of everything quite yet. So, even though she's off oxygen, she's still not cordless. But, it's so reassuring to see her making progress. One step at a time...
We are praying that Claire will continue to thrive and prove to us and the doctors that she's okay without the oxygen. We're also praying that she will continue with no apnea spells so that soon we can get rid of that monitor, too!
Oh, and side note - this baby is chunking up! She weighs 12 lbs, 3 oz and has jumped to the 50th percentile for weight... go baby go!!

That's great news!!! It will be so nice when she's finally off of everything. She is definately a trooper! We can't wait to meet her. You are both such great parents.
Yea! That is so exciting. Pretty soon all of the cords will be a thing of the past.
