Dedication Day!

Today was a very special day for Miss Claire Bear. In front of our church and several family and friends, we had the privilege of dedicating Claire to the Lord today. As her parents, we are committed to doing our best (only with God's help!) to teach Claire about God and raise her to know Him. What an honor!

As usual, she did great during the service and hardly made a peep!!

It was exciting to be dedicating Claire the same day our friends were dedicating their daughter, Maddie. What sweet and precious girls!

Claire and Maddie are already such good friends! They get to play together once a week at our playgroup! :)

All of Claire's Grandmas and Grandpas came for this special day... and of course we had to pose with each set! :) (Claire's Aunt Jorie and cousins Joel and Silas were there, too, but since Jorie was the photographer, somehow we missed getting a picture of them).

We had a fun picnic lunch after the service (which Aunt Jenny and family joined us for.. but again, somehow missed a pic of them!) and enjoyed some delicious cake!

Thanks, family, for being there to show your love and support to us and our precious daughter. It means so much to us!!

We picked out a verse for Claire and it is our prayer that she will come to know Jesus as her Savior and claim this verse as her own some day.
