Weekend Fun

We had a great, full weekend!  It's amazing how one extra day off seems to make such a difference.  It was so nice to have some extra time to hang out. 

Justin got off early on Friday, which was a fun surprise!  We filled up our pool in the backyard and the girls had fun.

We officially closed on our Iowa City home on Friday afternoon!  PRAISE THE LORD!!!! 

Celebrating!

Our neighborhood pool opened on Saturday so we spent a lot of time there this weekend.  It is so nice, right down the street, and free for residents.  Umm, I think we'll be there every day this summer!!  They have a big waterslide and a nice kid pool with a kids' waterslide.  By the end of the weekend, Claire was going down the big slide by herself!

On Saturday afternoon, we had some friends over and the girls swam in the backyard pool.  We grilled and had fun getting to know them better.  After church on Sunday, we went to brunch with friends and then did some more swimming in the neighborhood pool after naps.

We took the bike trailer out onto a trail on Monday morning.  The girls had fun on their ride!

We went to cook out at one of Justin's co-worker's homes on Monday afternoon. It was fun to get to know some more of the people Justin works with.  It was a busy but super fun weekend!!  Ready for a chill morning today!!
