This girl is growing up so fast... it's crazy! We made our first rice cereal attempt over the weekend. We weren't sure if we wanted to start quite yet, but after talking to the pediatrician about Claire's MAJOR spit-up problem and hearing that starting on rice cereal may help reduce the amount of spit-up, we were sold! I can't tell you how many bibs and burp cloths we go through a day... it's craziness. I hope and pray she grows out of her reflux soon.. poor girl (and poor Mommy -- we both probably smell like spoiled milk all the time!).
So, attempt number one has been made... key word being 'attempt.' I don't think she actually swallowed anything... just made weird faces and spit it out. :)
We'll try again in a few days! 
Although she still hangs out in her swing, she gets a little bored in it now. Claire is ready for some new toys! She hung out in her jump-up for awhile... didn't know what to do... no jumping.. but, it was a new view for her!
She's starting to hold toys and put them in her mouth. It's so fun watching her discover the world around her. Loving and cherishing each minute...

Cute pictures. I hope her spitting up gets better. Unfortunately the cereal did nothing for my boys, they didn't get better until they sat up, and they didn't quit until 9-12 months. Spitting up squash ruined so many clothes, so keep those bibs on!
