Last week I had one of those "I am a mom" moments. Claire and I joined my good friend and her babe for story time at the library. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I thought we'd give it a try. Well, let me tell you, we'll definitely be going back for more!!!
The room was FULL of moms and their little ones. The librarian started the time with several little songs that had motions to go along with them. Claire L-O-V-E-D it!!! She started clapping and bouncing. There was a smile on her face the entire time. I was also laughing because (A) Claire was so hilarious to watch, but mostly because (B) the moms were getting sooo into it! Everyone was singing along and knew all the little motions for the songs. It was just one of those things that only a mom would do. :)
The librarian even came over to see Claire afterwards. She said she couldn't help but keep watching Claire because she was enjoying it so much. As my friend Bridget said, "Claire was made for this." It is so fun to see her little personality develop!!

What a great little story.. just wait, you are in for so much more fun as she learns to walk and talk.
oh i wish i could have seen claire! will and i may have to join you two sometime soon! claire likely WAS made to sing & laugh--she's a ham with all her expressions!
ps--i've been telling everyone about claire chewing on will's toes...that was hilarious!
