My friend Bridget and I decided to take the kids on a fun little mom-n-baby getaway! We're trying to have all of the fun we can before these next babes arrive (she's due just 4 days before me!). Her uncle has a lake house on Lake Michigan and he graciously allowed us to come and stay for a couple of days.
Claire and Liam are the best of buddies and had so much fun together! The first hour of our trip was a little crazy but they fell asleep within a couple of minutes of each other so the mamas had some peace and quiet and plenty of time to chat! :)

We stayed at the lake house for 2 nights and then headed into Chicago for a few hours. The weather was just gorgeous. A perfect day to walk around and be outside!
The Taste of Chicago was going on, so we decided to walk around there and get some yummy food before we loaded up to bring the kiddos home.

Annie, you look fabulous! Good for you girls for getting some time away. Claire and Liam are precious. And how fun is it that you two are due so close together! Your families will be inseparable. ;-)
