Run Daddy Run!

Today we cheered our main man on in his marathon quest! Although we got up way too early and started our cheering when it was still dark out, we had so much fun supporting him and cheering along the way.

We hauled ourselves all over Atlanta and saw him at miles 4, 8, 12, 16, 21, and then the finish!

He's done!

marathon5

Although this was his fourth marathon, he said it was the hardest thing he's ever done in his life.  It was insanely hilly and he said he was either running uphill or downhill the entire race... basically zero flat sections at all.  IF there is a next time, he says it will be back to Chicago's flat course!  ;)

We are so proud of him and his accomplishments... and looking forward to hanging out with him on Saturday mornings now instead of sending him out on his training runs!
