I have officially entered the second trimester! It's hard to believe that the first milestone has come and gone... we are no longer in the first trimester. Wow... it's scary how fast time goes. I have to say, though, that I'm happy to be out of that oh-so-draining first trimester. The two things I was most plagued with during my first trimester were fatigue and hunger. The most difficult time was when I was still teaching... I would come home from work, take a nap, eat dinner, and then go back to bed. The next morning I would still be exhausted! It was neverending. And the hunger is crazy! I've been eating every two hours... and when it's time to eat again, I feel like I haven't eaten anything all day. If I were keeping a food diary, I think I would be frightened by how much I've consumed. All for a good cause though! :)
I had another doctor's appointment today and finally got to meet my new doctor.. who I LOVE (thanks for the recommendation, Andrea!). We scheduled my ultrasound for July 23rd. I can't wait to see this little sweetie and know if our future holds pink or blue.
