Premier Rally!

I just got back from a fabulous trip to Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas! Premier Designs Jewelry holds their national rally there every July. We had a great time! Premier is such a unique company.

The company was started in 1985 by Andy and Joan Horner. They were in their 60's when they started Premier. They went to Bolivia to visit their daughter, Sarah, who is a missionary there. After seeing all the needs there, they knew they needed to financially help with these ministries. After much prayer and counsel, they started Premier Designs for that very reason. They have been giving a portion of their earnings to missionaries ever since.

Premier invited many of the missionaries they support to attend the rally. We were able to hear some of them speak. It was so amazing to hear them say things like, "You don't realize that every pair of earrings you sell is helping us further our ministry here." WOW!! They showed some videos of a ministry in South America that Premier supports. This particular ministry holds summer camp programs for kids and they have a charter bus they use to transport the kids. On the back of the bus it says, "Thank you Premier Designs." I feel so honored to be a part of such an amazing organization!!


One night our group went to the Fort Worth stockyards for dinner and some shopping. We had buffalo burgers at Risky's BBQ. Yum! I even bought Justin a nice souvenir from the Stockyards.

I really enjoyed my time at the rally. It was a little tough being pregnant there.. I got tired out really easily. It was definitely worth it though! And the new jewelry is awesome!! :)
