Today Claire turned TWO!! I can't believe it's been 2 years already. Anyway, we were so excited this morning to present her with her birthday present. Justin has been working on this every night for the past few weeks.
We found this entertainment center on Craigslist and bought it for $15. It went from this....
We also found the sink on Craigslist for $10. The only other things Justin bought were the red paint, a piece of plexiglass (for the oven door), and a piece of plywood. The rest of the supplies we had around the house. I thought it turned out PERFECTLY and must admit that even after 7 years of marriage, my hubby never ceases to amaze me! We saw the idea online about a year ago and Justin immediately wanted to make one for Claire. He always goes above and beyond what I imagine. Needless to say, she LOVES it and played with it every spare moment she had today.

What a creative hubby you have! I love this idea! It's just so much more practical than buying those expensive plastic sets... and it was made with love! I'm sure both girls will enjoy it for years to come!

I am in love with this kitchen!!!! I am currently debating if we get one for Aiden for Christmas or wait until this summer when time allows us to build one and this makes it so tempting to wait:):):)
