Visitors

Claire has already met many of her family members. It's funny to look back at these pics of different people visiting... you can see all the different stages and beds she has been in during her stay here in the NICU!

Grandpa Wilburn, along with Grandma Rho and Grandpa Jim, were the first to see her after she was born.

Claire with her Aunt Jorie

And Uncle Mark ... At this stage, we were still afraid to pick her up without the nurses' help, so they didn't get to hold her. :(

And Grandpa Jim

Claire met her Aunt Lacey last night (Claire was "sitting" on top of her soon-to-be cousin... still cooking away in Lacey's belly!)

**Claire was also visited by her Grandma Wilburn, but we didn't get a picture! :( Sorry, Grandma!! Unfortunately the visit was short, since Claire was ready to eat and a little impatient when Grandma was there. Grandma and Grandpa Wilburn plan to come out one of these weekends and we'll have to make it up to them by taking lots of pics! :)

What a beautiful baby. We have been praying for her since Eric emailed us when you went into early labor and asked for prayer. It was at his request but, since we know your Dad as well it was a double honor to have been able to lift her and you up the the Almighty. I have been keeping up here! Looks like Jim is happy having another little girl to spoil. It is wonderful to see how well things are progressing.
We will continue to keep you all in our prayers!

Dear Annie and Justin,
I am so hesitant to leave a comment and intrude on your family time (and to be honest, come off looking like a stalker). Annie, I don't know if you remember me (Roxi and Jason friend from college) but I took a peek at the blog awhile back and got hooked once I heard that Claire was born. Congratulations, she looks so wonderful and I can hear the happiness in your posts! Since having Fred its been unbelievable and so humbling to have your life go topsy turvy with the love and responsibility for this new little being. My hopes and prayers for a happy homecoming soon. You guys will have so much fun, this has been the best year of my life. I also just wanted to say, that similar to Roxi, I was born with a heart defect (one of my valves didn't function properly) and required surgery when I was 3, and I too have had a healthy, active, and full life. The advancements that they have made in this field are unbelievable, that things can be corrected with a small procedure like a scope, that used to call for open heart surgery, like I had. I'm sure she will require none of this, but if she does I can already tell you will display the same courage, strength, and grace that you have already shown during this hospital stay (says the woman who cried when her baby had his first vaccines =) ). I say this to hopefully provide comfort - so if it didn't provide the intended sentiment than disregard the ramblings of the crazy blog stalker lady. =) Many blessings to you guys! Love, laughter, and prayers,
Jess Worst
