We've been spoiled to have my mom, aka Grandma Rho, staying with us the past three days. Even though she lives just a half hour away, she came to stay for a few days. It was so nice to have live-in help. The great thing about moms is that they always seem to know what we need, even when we don't know ourselves. She cooked, cleaned the entire house, did LOTS of laundry, helped with Claire, made meals, kept me company, went on errands for us, etc... We sure loved having her here and we made sure she knows that she is welcome back ANYTIME she wants to come! :)
Claire is 3 weeks old today! I can't believe it. We kind of lost the first 2 weeks since they were spent in the hospital so it seems crazy that she's already 3 weeks old. Tomorrow is her big appointment. We've been praying "with" Claire about it every day and she even got a little pep talk from Grandma yesterday. I think all of us are tired of the cords and tubes... even Claire. She has started pulling at the tube on her face when she gets mad, so half of the time, the silly thing isn't even in her nose supplying her with oxygen. I really believe that she doesn't need it and that she's ready to be a "normal" baby. We'll see what the doctors say tomorrow. We are also anxious to see how much she weighs. In the NICU they weighed her every day so we always knew how she was doing in that category. It's been a week and a half since she was last weighed, so it'll be fun to see how much she has gained. She sure is eating a lot, so hopefully she's gaining weight.

I love the pics of Claire and Gma Rho. They look so happy together! :) I still remember how awesome it was having Mom there with us after Joel was born. I cried when she drove away.
